ADHD assessments for new private patients will be available Summer 2024, with medication titration and short-term follow-up.
For other conditions, existing patients are being seen for planned follow-up.
Self-funding patients are welcome. We have taken the decision not to see patients funded by health insurance companies at present.

A new private patient Psychiatry appointment lasting up to one hour costs £400.00.
Usually, a letter would be sent to your GP outlining treatment recommendations. You are welcome to have a copy of the letter yourself.
A follow-up appointment lasts up to 25 minutes and the cost is £180.
Normally Dr Davies would not usually see people for more than a couple of follow-up appointments.
A new assessment for(ADHD takes longer, and the fee is £800.

Employment or personal injury reports are charged according to a separate structure.
Medication
The pharmacy will charge for any medication dispensed on a private basis.
Location
The private clinic at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend remains shut.
From April 2023 Dr Davies is seeing private patients at Cyncoed Consulting Rooms Dartington Drive Cardiff CF23 8SQ
The Swansea office has closed, sorry.

Please note that Dr Davies provides scheduled outpatient Psychiatry clinic appointments only. He does not provide urgent or emergency private appointments, crisis intervention, home visits or out-of-hours care. If you need any of these, please ask your GP. Also, Dr Davies does not provide private Psychiatric inpatient treatment.
Dr Davies is qualified as an adult Psychiatrist. He sees patients aged 18 and over only.
